Ufone customers can win return tickets for Dubai until second day of Eid - for that they will have to make international calls (to any country) for 5 minutes or more.
Winners would be announced through lucky draw.
Seems like, cellular companies now want Pakistani customers to make international calls, maybe due to very in-expensive local calls : - )

Mobilink and Ufone quickly responded, like a rocket, to a move made by Telenor yesterday to charge additional 5 percent on all scratch cards and balance share reloads. We are missing Warid and Zong in this charges Gang.
So all Mobilink, Ufone and Telenor prepaid customers, don’t mind if you are deducted additional Rs. 5 when you load a Rs. 100 card. Now you guys will get Rs. 86 in you balance on Rs. 100 card reloads.
Update: Zong and Warid are also charging 5 percent on all card reloads and balance exchanges
Postpaid customers are currently spared from these service charges, but they must fasten their seat belts to absorb any shock in coming days, under the name of service charges (or say them over charges).
Hopefully cellular companies will not compete on these service charges. Apparently all cellular companies are following same rate (primarily set by Telenor, 5 percent), if not the case we may see hike in these service charges in coming months.
On a general note, Government should re-consider taxes on telecom services, in order to keep the growth intact. They must reduce taxes by at least 5 percent to compensate these so called service charges.

As the headline clearly says, it’s a rumor… hence no official confirmations are there about this offer from Ufone. But we are told by reliable sources that Ufone will start giving Rs. 500 handsets to those who will port-in to Ufone from other networks through Mobile Number Portability (MNP). Speculations are that this Rs. 500 handset is going to be Huawei T206, exactly the same handset that comes with Ufone’s Bundle offer (Handset and Ufone connection in Rs. 999)
This offer will impress those customers who are on other networks but currently they are deprived of handsets. Being a low end Huawei handset, this is going to be a perfect match for those who need the basic telephony options. Click here to know specifications of this phone.
Even, if this offer doesn’t turn reality, I suppose cellular companies may think about similar offers to grab customers from other networks. Furthermore, these handsets are likely to be of locked nature; meaning that they could be used on Ufone network only.

Ever you wanted to know calling details for your mobile number? You may require this for several reasons, such as:
- You feel like that your mobile phone has been misused by someone around you, and you want to figure out who it was who kept calling from your phone without informing you!
- You have given a mobile number to your kid, and you want to keep an eye on his/her activities
- Even if there is no reason, you own this number, so you deserve a right to know what has been happening around with your phone.
Well, for those who are postpaid subscribers, they get their outgoing detail almost every month in form of their monthly bills. But for Prepaid users, getting call details is almost impossible for a normal person.
Other than Ufone and Zong, no one offers you this service. Meaning that, if you have any mobile connection, other than Ufone, then just forget about getting your call details, because no one offers this service.

What information you will get?
Ufone says they will send you complete outgoing call details for last 90 days, excluding current month. Don’t expect incoming call details or SMS details in this list.

Ufone seems quite satisfied with the feedback it is getting from its Ramzan Offer, hence it has now decided to extend Ufone Ramzan Offer for 2 more hours. Meaning that now Ufone customers can call from 12 PM to 7 AM at Rs. 6.04 (including taxes) per hour.
At same time, we hope that we gonna get something to eat as well at Iftari along with just Masoom Sharbat : - )
This move by Ufone gives a hint that this package may also see extention even after Ramadan; or even better if they start offering free on net calls for a flat monthly rental… Everything is possible, but let the time decide it.
We have discussed details of this package before, but if you haven’t activated it, check below
For Activation
Dial *444*786#
Charges
A one time subscription charge of Rs. 12.1 (including taxes) would be charged at the time of subscription.

Many of us are crazy to have Golden or Platinum mobile number; these easy to remember phone numbers are also marked as status symbol amongst the masses. Or you may want to have same number for your spouse but with different code…! But tell you something, after reading this post, it is not going to be a tough job for you to get Ufone Golden Number and that too with 0333 code.
Okay, the process is very simple… check out Ufone franchises in your area, because those guys are the right contacts to get such Golden Numbers. Not all franchises may help you in getting Ufone Golden Numbers, but specific ones may come up with good solution. For example, in Rawalpindi, Ufone’s franchise located at Kalma Chowk, Bakra Mandi offer you Ufone’s Golden Numbers.
Now, if you are thinking that you gonna get these numbers in Rs. 150, then you are absolutely wrong…! Obviously you need to pay more for such Cathy numbers. Infact Ufone has categorized these numbers in 3 ways, 1- Silver 2 – Golden 3 – Platinum
Prices are as following
- Ufone Silver Number = Rs. 1000
- Ufone Golden Number = Rs. 2500
- Ufone Platinum Number = Rs. 7500
How numbers are categorized,
There is no hard and fast rule, but apparently, if you get a number with triple digit in it then is going to be a Silver Number,
Such as 0333-5433355 is possibly a silver number
0333-5499994 has a tetra digit; hence it is a Golden number and will cost you Rs. 2500.
0333-5988888 is a platinum number, as it has penta digit, and such a number is going to cost you Rs. 7500
Note: as I mentioned, there is no hard and fast rule for the prices, so you can expect 033354334455 as a Golden Number too… Also note that I have randomly mentioned these numbers, so please take these numbers just as examples. Also you may expect numbers with 0333 code more expensive than of a number with 0332 or 0331 code.
It is suggested to find a reference at these franchises, as a good friend can greatly help you find a very good number. Actually what they do to get you such a Golden Number is that they search numbers in Online Records available to them. For example, they will put 0333-5423333 into system and will see if this number is registered to anyone or not. If not, then they will offer you this number for hefty price.
Also note that these numbers are offered in only postpaid packages. Means if you will have to pay Rs. 1000 (atleast) for security deposit.
For an example, total Price for a Golden Number would become
Golden Number Price: Rs. 2000
Security Deposit: Rs. 1000 (This security deposit depends on package, but this is lowest limit)
Activation Tax: Rs. 200
Total Price: Rs. 3,700
So, enjoy, and let me know if you get any success with this story : - )
