I get countless queries from my readers, who are interested in knowing the address details of cellular numbers. When I tell them, that I really can’t help them out in this, they ask “okay at least tell me from which city this person has been calling”.
So, I am sharing this information for those, who want to know the city of any number. That means, the mobile number was issued in that city, however, it is not necessary that mobile number owner is still staying in the same city from where he/she purchased his/her number.
Go to this website: Click Here
Enter the number you want to check, and press submit…! It will give you back the city name of any mobile number.

Please note that this website supports limited number of codes, check website for more details

Most of the people who use internet are well aware of “Orkut” a social networking website. But besides social networking this website is being used for immoral activities, which is a great threat to the future of our young generation. I have been using Orkut for last 4 years and spent a lot of time on this website. Amongst variety of people, I came across, some are really good and helpful and using this social network in positive manner and to help each other. But some of them in fact most of them are using this portal in a wrong way.
Today these bad activities that I have been witnessing for a long time made me to write this article. May be I’ll be able to draw net user’s attention towards this and may I could save someone’s life. But let me share my experience and research on Orkut with you.
In past four years I have gone through many experiences on Orkut. Initially I didn’t have much knowledge about this site. Somehow I got an invitation through an email sent to me by a friend of mine and I created a profile. I knew a few friends of mine who already had profiles there, so I added them and then I came to know that one can view others profile and add them as friends. Continue Reading This Story

Bloggers in Pakistan today proved their existence in real lives, when more than 100 bloggers engaged themselves in an exciting gathering at SC-4 Hall, LUMS – Lahore. This meet-up is meant to be the start of a journey that was badly required from a community that has been actively playing its role to fulfill Pakistan’s online needs.
Though bloggers have been aggressively reporting about social, cultural, educational, industrial, business and political issues coming across, but they had been missing a very important part – ‘ in person interaction with the real world’ which they accomplished today; thanks to Badar Khusnood, Pakistan Country Consultant, Google, Inc., CIO Pakistan and hosted by LUMS IEEE Students.
Meet-up basically aimed at connecting bloggers with each other to better perform in terms of content quality and revenues by sharing their experiences and expertise. Continue Reading This Story

OGRA’s website was hacked last evening; I was in office when I heard this breaking news on Geo TV. At
once, I searched for OGRA, and started looking for more information about this defacement. After little work I found that OGRA’s website was hacked by H M G group of script kiddies from India run by a guy call Sneak and they call themselves Guards of Hindustan and some define this group Hindu Militant Group.
I remember, it’s been a year when I spoke with the owner of this group for first time. He was just a kid then (in terms of hacking) He didn’t know much about hacking and security concerns. This guy had a group of friends, who were keen to know more and more about hacking and they intended to use their skills for fun purposes. Continue Reading This Story

Our sources have confirmed us that Ufone will be launching EDGE Card too, very soon (likely to be in couple of weeks).
Sources further told that Ufone is already testing this service. No words yet on its pricing, but maybe this segment is going to play a price game too, amongst companies.

We know through our sources and a service glimpse given on PTCL’s website, that PTCL is planning to launch long awaited CDMA based wireless broadband in Pakistan from December 1st, 2008. Initially, service will be offered in Karachi, Islamabad/Rawalpindi and Lahore.
From early information provided, we can assume that a plug and play USB compatible device will be provided to customers, to get this always on Mobile Broadband.
After DSL and WiMAX I suppose such mobile broadband is something that Pakistan’s consumers are looking for. However, the pricing is going to play a major role in making such gadgets and services hot. However, it is anticipated that pricing will be quite high than of wired broadband - But we can expect anything from PTCL… Continue Reading This Story
